Do I have to wear a helmet?
This varies from state to state. In WV, VA, and TN, all riders are required to wear a helmet. In KY, riders under the age of 20 years are required to wear a helmet. If you are traveling to another state, you will need to check their laws. While you may not have to wear a helmet by law, we still advise you to do so, as it just may save your life. Further, failure to wear a helmet will be used against you by the insurance companies in an effort to minimize the amount they pay.
